As the anniversary of the murder of Jean Charles Demenezes approaches, spare a moment to think about the family of Azelle Rodney

Azelle Rodney was shot dead in an operation Kratos practice run by SO19 operatives on April 30th 2005 as he was ordered out of a silver Volkswagen Golf car by armed cops in Hale Lane, Edgware, North London.
The officer from the same unit that went on to murder the innocent Brazillian shot Mr Rodney seven times, including five times to his head, which was said to be almost totally destroyed. The cop has since been on paid leave.

The dead mans family are angry at false media reports in the immediate aftermath of the shooting claiming Mr Rodney had been holding a firearm.
