I had the opportunity to meet former US congresswoman Cynthia McKinney at her ‘Confronting The Empire’ talk recently. She was the 1st African-American women to represent the state of Georgia.
Throughout her time in office she was a strident and forthright critic of the Bush administration’s policy’s at home and abroad.
